International Make-Up Artist Trade Show –LA 2015 & Make Up Trends

​January 16-18 2015, the International Make-up Artist Trade Show LA took place in Pasadena Convention Center.

         The show is held six times a year in LA, New York, London, Vancouver, Sydney, and Toronto. Thousands of make-up artist and enthusiasts discuss, display and collect the best the industry has to offer. Make-up professionals provide education and demonstrations at IMATS.

​IMATS 2015 displayed make-up special effects. Keynote speakers included Adam Johansen and Damien Martin directors of the world renowned Sydney based ODD studio and Ve Niel, a three time Oscar winning make-up artist. Founders of make-up companies like Make-up Forever, Anastasia of Beverly Hills, and Sugar Pills debuted their products. 

          Also, beauty bloggers made famous by social media like made appearances throughout the weekend.

- Brown Eyed Girls at Giorgio Armani show

- Flash of color, The pop art eye makeup like Fendi show

- Bare Minimum at Marc Jacobs meant " no-make up" no mascara no foundation make up artist used pinky - nude lipstick and blush.
